A combination of 2 'News Magazine of the screen' stories..
The first clip I've seen before.. we see the discontinuation of the El line in New York. Very nice footage here, it shows the very antiquated line and it's track, which really ran too close to apartments..
The second clip documents the history and the wonders of the the Statue Of Liberty, from it's construction in Paris to it's unveilling by Grover Cleveland. Nice footage of people peeking out of Liberty's crown and some great aerial views of looking down from the torch.
And that's it! Pretty short and to the point.
